Where: Multi-Purpose Room and Nature Trails at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, 800 Great Creek Rd, Galloway, NJ 08205

When: Saturday, November 4, 2023

Time: 9:30 am-11:30 am

What: Walk the trails of the Forsythe NWR with Virginia Rettig, Refuge Manager, for a guided exploration of the sights and sounds of birds at the Refuge (approximately 1.5 hr). Join NJMEA members afterwards for a hands-on demonstration of tried-and-true K-12 avian science lessons and activities (0.5 hr).

Cost: $5 for NJMEA members, $20 for non-NJMEA

How to prepare: Dress in layers wearing comfortable clothes and shoes for the outdoors, bring a reusable water bottle and snacks, bring binoculars if you have them.
