Come learn about the amazing Monarch butterfly!

Fall is a great time to spot them feasting on seaside goldenrod along the Jersey coast, preparing for a long journey south. We will dive into the Monarch’s life cycle, biology, and conservation efforts in New Jersey and around the world. Plus, get tips on how you and your students can help!

Presentation is followed by a tagging demonstration (with participation) and butterfly release.

Presented by Kaitlin Gannon, President-Elect of NJMEA. Tagging materials supplied by the Monarch Monitoring Project.

Fee:  Members, $5.00; Non-members, lapsed members: $10.00
